About me
Hello, I’ve worked in the sports broadcasting industry, primarily at ESPN, for nearly 20 years. While at ESPN, I served as one of the four Broadcast Managers in our Studio Wraps Unit, covering everything stick-and-ball related events outside of SportsCenter (1993-2010). Early in my career, I was a remote technical crew person (Audio Assistant or A2) for every sports network and regional sporting network that visited and covered the Pittsburgh sports scene. From 1988 to 1993, I covered the Pirates, Pens, and Steelers, the University of Pittsburgh, and WVU events from the technical side. More recently, I’ve been the line producer for sports content for ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, the old ESPN"3", and Big 12 on ESPN+. I still consult with WVU Athletics as a supervisor, producer, and Operations Manager for Big 12 events. Currently, teach Sports & Adventure Media within the College of Creative Arts & Media at West Virginia University.
