Advising all types of student media can be both rewarding and challenging. Student media advisors face many issues including: maintaining membership, quality control, funding, legal issues, personnel issues, administrators and, of course, issues surrounding technology as well as a host of other issues. The goal of this panel is for experienced and newbie advisors to discuss how they have handled challenges and to spend time brainstorming new out-of-the-box solutions with session attendees.
