About me
Dave Morgasen (MFA Screenwriting, Cal State Fullerton) got his start on primetime awards shows, writing jokes for everyone from Eddie Murphy to Dick Van Dyke. Since then, he has written, directed, and/or produced for film, television, and viral online content. His parody of David Blaine’s Street Magic was an early YouTube hit, eventually exceeding 200 million views. His credits include: Disney’s Princess Protection Program; Son of the Beach – the Baywatch parody he co-created and produced with Howard Stern for FX Networks; ABC’s Hiller & Diller with Eugene Levy, Richard Lewis, and Kevin Nealon; Jimmy Kimmel Live; and Ellen DeGeneres. Most recently, he co-created an animated pilot called Red, White & Lou, which he produced with Courteney Cox, among others. Dave teaches screenwriting at Cal State Fullerton.
