About me
Hi, I'm Nathan Pooler, a student in broadcast and film. Whether I'm behind the camera, in the control room, or in the producer's chair, I live for the craft of bringing compelling content to life.
I will be graduating from the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord College of Journalism with a degree in Creative Media Production this May— and honestly, that's where everything clicked for me. OU gave me the tools, but the real education came from diving headfirst into the work.
As Senior Director at Sooner Sports Pad, I lead broadcast production at a high level every single day. My engineering background means I can speak the language on both the creative and technical sides of any production. That versatility is something I take a lot of pride in.
Film is where my heart truly lives. As Executive Producer and Director of Productions at Greenlight Creative Productions, I help student filmmakers turn raw ideas into fully realized short films, from the moment a script gets greenlit through to the premiere. I also served as Associate Producer on Neon, OU's first feature film about a struggling artist who discovers a vibrant dream world, only for her past to turn those dreams into nightmares.
But one of my proudest achievements is serving as Executive Producer on Undiscovered — Gaylord College's first-ever television pilot, produced under Greenlight Creative Productions. Being part of making history at Gaylord with that project is something I'll never forget.
I bring technical precision, creative instinct, and a genuine love for this industry to everything I do, and I'm just getting started.
