Dawson currently works as Assistant Director for Wildcat Electronic Media and is a Drone Pilot for Wagnair Media.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications & Digital Media, with a minor in Leadership & Unmanned Aircraft Systems in 2022, and finished his Master of Science in Mass Communication from Kansas State University in August of 2025.

Currently, Dawson is a freelancer around the Midwest. He is a licensed Part 107 Remote Pilot and multimedia instructor in the A.Q. Miller School of Media and Communication.
