About me
Dr. Victor Evans is an Associate Professor in the Communication department at Seattle University. He has been teaching in higher education for over 20 years. Before teaching, Dr. Evans was an entertainment journalist, working with many organizations in both New York and Los Angeles, including Entertainment Weekly, MTV, and BET. He also worked as an entertainment producer for CNN’s Headline News. Dr. Evans’ middle-grade LGBTQ mystery, The Case of the Missing Lightning Bat: An Evan Sinclair Mystery, won the 2022 Purple Dragonfly LGBTQ Book of Excellence Award.
